Dottir is a jewelry line by artist Meghan (Nelson) Hayes. She uses silver and bronze to create work that focuses on clean lines, geometric shapes, and elegant forms, pulling inspiration from nature and traditional Scandinavian design. Ranging from the perfect everyday pair of posts to sculptural statement pieces, her work balances artistry with wearability. All elements of her jewelry are hand fabricated in her MN studio.

Jewelry Care and Cleaning:
Avoid getting your jewelry wet: do not wear swimming or in the shower. Do not handle your jewelry immediately after putting on lotion. Try to avoid touching the flat face of the jewelry, as fingerprints are more apparent on these surfaces. Store piece in an airtight plastic or anti-tarnish pouch away from humidity when not wearing frequently. Do not store in the bathroom. Brass will tarnish over time, but you can return its shine by gently buffing the piece with a jewelry polishing cloth or gentle jewelry cleanser. For a DIY cleanser mix lemon juice + baking soda to create a paste and gently scrub onto jewelry with a soft bristle brush (an old toothbrush works great!), rinse and wipe dry with a soft cloth.
