The 2023 Midsommar Celebration is on Sat, June 17. Advance ticket registration is available all day to attend this event. Walk-up sales will only be available after 1:30 pm. Midsommar is one of ASI’s most popular events; please anticipate limited on-site parking.

The sights and sounds of the Scandinavian marketplace returns the first weekend in December at one of the region’s largest handcraft markets and festivals. Shop handmade goods from more than 60 regional artists at booths inside ASI and out in the courtyard. Browse exceptional items from ASI’s own Jul Shop, alongside distinctive artisan glass, clothing, wood, jewelry, ceramics, and textiles.

ACC's American Craft Made
We'll be back in St. Paul in 2022 for our hometown event and hope you'll join us! Formerly known as American Craft Shows, our American Craft Made events will feature a brand new e-commerce component, opening up our marketplaces to craft appreciators everywhere.
Riverfront Fine Arts Festival
Our Riverfront Fine Arts Festival began in the 1970’s! Currently, it takes place in September and runs in conjunction with the Defeat of Jesse James Days. Set along the idyllic Cannon River walkway, dozens of fine artists and craftspersons sell their work – ceramics, jewelry, paintings, fiber, wood and steel – there is something for everyone!
Art in Bayfront Park
Don’t miss this free art festival located on the beautiful Duluth lakefront. Over 100 artists fill Bayfront Festival Park with juried works of art including jewelry, painting, photography, ceramics, metalwork, glass and more!
Uptown Art Fair
The Uptown Art Fair, produced by the Uptown Association, is a juried fine arts festival with a reputation as one of the most exceptional art fairs in the United States. Through a rich history and constant innovation, the Uptown Art Fair showcases a variety of quality art for everyone’s budget.
Grand Marais Art Festival
While traditionally the event takes place on Wisconsin Street, the site for the 2022 Grand Marais Arts Festival will be at the Cook County Schools, 101 5th Street as there are two building projects happening on Wisconsin Street this summer.
Stone Arch Bridge Festival
As in 2021, Stone Arch Bridge Festival will be on the west side of the Mississippi River.
The festival grounds will span the riverfront area on W. River Parkway from Portland Ave to N. 4th Avenue.
The Stone Arch Bridge is committed to providing a platform for artists to sell their work, and the community to gather safely. More than 200 artists and culinary artists will participate with a broad spectrum of artistic mediums.
Midsommar at American Swedish Institute
The quintessential summer celebration returns to ASI on Saturday, June 18
The Midsommar Celebration at the American Swedish Institute is one of the largest in the Midwest. Dating back to ancient times, Midsommar is a tradition that welcomes back warm weather and the growing season, and also marks the longest day of the year. It’s celebrated by making fresh-flower head wreaths, singing songs, listening to live music, and dancing around the midsommarstång (maypole)—all hallmarks of this family-friendly festival.
Excelsior Art on the Lake
Excelsior Art on the Lake is an engaging creative event that connects the artist's personal story with a vibrant lake community, while showcasing an array of outstanding artistic work from multiple disciplines.
The historic lakeside village of Excelsior draws art enthusiasts from across the Minneapolis/St. Paul area with its unique shops, galleries and restaurants.
Excelsior Art on the Lake provides an inspiring experience for both the artist and the public. Local musicians will entertain and regional food vendors will be onsite throughout the two-day event.
Over 140 artists will be displaying original works amidst live music and a variety of food offerings.
Edina Art Fair
Join us to to view magnificent, high-quality artwork in the first outdoor fine arts festival of the summer season in 2022! The Edina Art Fair is located in the prestigious intersection of the 50th & France Business District in Edina and Minneapolis. The Edina Art Fair has approximately 250,000 - 300,000 visitors attending this three-day festival each year. Since 2017, the Edina Art Fair has been rated top 50 best art fairs in the nation by Sunshine Artist and ranked #1 in MN and #32 out of the Top 100 Fine Art Fairs by the Art Fair Source Book. It was awarded Best Community Event by Edina Magazine in 2014 and 2017, received the Mayor's Award for Outstanding Community Involvement in 2013, and voted best community event by Minnesota Monthly Magazine in 2016.
